Sidecar is one of my favorite sour cocktails, but what about a Royale version? Adding champagne to this delicious cocktail makes it even better! So with the Royale moniker, I crowned it as the King of Sidecars. That’s also because I used Remy Martin 1738 Accord Royal Cognac, which is delicious, but also the perfect choice for the Sidecar Royale due to its name.

Sidecar Royale

● 45 ml (1.5 oz) Remy Martin 1738 Cognac

● 22,5 ml (0.75 oz) Cointreau

● 15 ml (0.5 oz) lemon juice

● 2 drops saline solution

● top up champagne

Add all ingredients (except champagne) to a shaker and shake well with ice. Serve it in a chilled coupe glass and top up with champagne. Cut a circle or orange peel and express the oils over the cocktail, then place the orange “crown” on top of the drink.
